Mahbub, Milon on remand, Selima to jail

DHAKA: A Dhaka court Wednesday granted separate two-day remand for BNP’s central leaders Khandaker Mahbub Hossain and Fazlul Haque Milon in a bomb blast case.

On the other hand, court sent another BNP vice-president Selima Rahman to jail denying her bail petition. Besides, it allowed law enforcers to quiz her at jail gate.

Metropolitan Magistrate Aminul Haque passed the order after hearing in the afternoon.

Earlier in the day Ramna Thana police produced them before the court and sought seven days remand of each.

On Tuesday evening, Selima Rahman was picked up by law enforcers from her residence at Gulshan in the capital hours after she declared to extend 48-hour by 12-hour.

On the other hand, Kandaker Mahbub was held from in front of National Press Club in the afternoon of same day.  

Later, they were shown arrested in bomb attack case.
