DHAKA: Jatiya Party Senior presidium member Rawshan Ershad claimed that she was asked her to the opposition leader of the 10th parliamentary elections.
She came up with the assertion while talking to journalists at media centre of the Prliament Bhaban on Wednesday evening.
She said, “Ershad asked me to be the opposition leader as he was the president of the country. He will lend all out support to us.”
She also said Ershad will return soon house from the CMH as he feels better now.
The Jatiya Party won 33 constituencies out of 292 in the 10 parliamentary polls.
