Govt to pull out all stops to tackle militancy

DHAKA: Jatiya Party (Manzu) Chairman Anwar Hossain Manju said that extremism is prevailing around the world and new government would pull out all the stops to face the militancy.

He made the comment while talking to banglanews before taking oath at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday morning.

In reply to a question, he threw counter-question that where is the conspiracy on trial of war criminals? Already first war crimes verdict has been executed, he added.

Earlier, the Jatiya Party Chairman Anwar Hossain Manju was elected unopposed, in the 10th parliamentary election.
