‘No talks unless BNP leave Jamaat’

DHAKA: Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud Sunday categorically said that no discussion will be held unless BNP leave the companion of Jamaat.

He came up with the assertion while addressing a discussion ‘Thikana Bangladesh’ organised by Awami League at the National Press Club in city.

Hasan Mahmud said that the European Parliament and the US foreign ministry urged BNP to leave Jamaat.

He also said that BNP is now out of the parliament and even not in politics. Their position is now zero. So, if they want to come back to politics they have to leave the companion of Jamaat.

With Metropolitan Awami League Joint General Secretary Hazi Selim in the chair Sammyabadi Dal leader Harun Chowdhury, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) central leader Aktar Hossain and others delivered their speech.
