Gibson urged to hold dialogue

DHAKA: British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Gibson on Tuesday urged two top leaders of Bangladesh to sit for a dialogue quickly.

He came up with the urge while talking to journalists after a meeting with communications Minister Obaidul Quader around 10:30am.

Indicating two leaders, Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia, Gibson said, “You both are talking about dialogue which is a good sign. So please sit in dialogue quickly for the sake of democracy.”

He also said that there was a clear indication in the speech of two leaders so they should sit together for dialogue as soon as possible to create an environment so that people can cast their votes.
