KURIGRAM: Votes for the two postponed centers of Kurigram-4 constituency will be held on Thursday.
Tight security and other necessary measures were taken from the administration in this regards.
During national polls held on January 5, the voting was postponed due to violence at the centers of Raumari Kermatiya Madrasa and Char Bandber Government School of the constituency.
Earlier, the election authorities declared poll date on January 16. Awami League candidate pleaded for re-polls at five more centers alleging violence.
On January 15, the High Court ordered to stay polling for four weeks.
On Sunday, canceling the stay, Chamber Court of Supreme Court ordered to hold re-election in the two centers on Thursday.
