DHAKA: Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday categorically said if opposition parties want talks they should give provocative remarks over the country.
The presidium member of the party also claimed that BNP leader Khaleda Zia’s remark is dissipating the environment of political dialogues between government and the opposition parties.
Obaidul came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after a meeting with Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jun at his secretariat office in the city.
Indicating Khaleda, he further said the BNP chief wants to talk with the government but again she terms the government illegal.
Regarding the meeting with the Chinese diplomat, Quader told journalists that the ambassador asked the government to create an environment for constructive dialogue.
