DHAKA: Jubo Dal, youth wing of BNP, announced programmes for two days protesting killing, missing, kidnapping, arresting and torturing and filing false cases against leaders and activists across the country.
The programmes include prayer for the killed leaders and activists on January 31 and protest rally on February 1.
Senior vice-president of Jubo Dal Advocate Abdus Salam Azad made the declaration in a press conference at the Naya Paltan office on Saturday afternoon.
He said prayers will be arranged in mosques, temples, pagodas and churches and all other religious places on Friday (January 31) for the peace of all the departed souls in movement for democracy around the country.
On the next day, protest rallies will be organized across the country protesting killing, missing, kidnapping, arresting and torturing and filing false cases against leaders and activists.
A protest rally will be organized in this connection at the National Press Club in the capital, he added.
