DHAKA: Activists of Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, exploded three cocktails in Shahjadpur area in the city on Thursday morning.

Some 15-20 leaders-activists of the organization, led-by its Dhaka city (north) secretary Foysal Parvez and publicity secretary Kamrul Islam, brought out a brisk procession in the area around 7:15am and blasted couple of cocktails.

Jamaat called the dawn-to-dusk hartal in protest against death penalty against its Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami in 10-truck arms haul case.
