CHITTAGONG: An activist of Juba Dal, the youth wing of BNP, was chopped to death by miscreants in west Muradpur village of Muradpur union under Sitakunda Upazila of the district on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Sajeeb, 32.

Sitakunda Thana Officer-in-Charge Aminul Islam told banglanews, “On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body at around 9:00pm.”

But no one was held in this connection, he added.
