DHAKA: Metropolitan Session Judge Monday denied bail to Dhaka city BNP convener Sadeque Hossain Khoka in three different cases with Motijheel and Jatrabari thanas of the city.

Metropolitan Session Judge M Zahurul Haque passed the order after hearing on the cases.

On behalf of Khoka, Advocate Mohsin Mia filed the bail plea on February 3.

On November 12, 2013, some eight passengers sustained burn injuries as miscreants set fire to a passenger bus, using gun powder, in Rayerbagh area of the city.
 
Two cases were filed with Jatrabari Thana in this connection.

Besides, Khoka was also shown arrested in a case with Motijheel Thana as a law enforcing agency member was killed during May 5 mayhem at Shapla Chattar of the city.

On December 10, 2013, law enforcers arrested Khoka Uttara area of the city.
