DHAKA: The Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu categorically on Tuesday said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is involved in an ‘evil’ move to kill her own party activists.

He came up with the observation at Secretariat, in a press conference regarding the prevailing political situation in the country.

Inu said, “The government is trying to bring peace in country but she (Khaleda Zia) is using the policy of terrorism and violence in the name of politics and trying to spread turmoil across the country.”

Blaming BNP Chairperson for instigating media by using false information, he said, “She is making traps to kill his own leaders and activists and trying to spread chaos by telling fabricated stories of killing 152 BNP leaders.”

Moreover, he asked Khaleda to leave the path of anarchy and falsehood.

Regarding the 8th wage board, in response to a question, Inu said an initiative has been taken and they taking action to monitor the implementation of the wage board for journalists.
