NARSHINGDI: Organizing secretary of district Chhatra League was chopped dead by miscreants in Shibpur Thana of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Shahin Kader Mahin, 25.

Witnesses said some 3-4 miscreants chopped Shahin indiscriminately when he came out of his office at Putia Bazar intersection of the thana around 5:30pm.

Local people rushed him to Narshingdi district hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.
