DHAKA: BNP leader Sadek Hossain Khoka was freed on bail from Dhaka Central Jail on Wednesday afternoon.

The BNP leader walked out the jail at around 4:45pm, jail sources said.

A total of eight cases were filed against Khoka for killing sub-inspector Shahjahan during the May 5 mayhem at Motijheel centering the Hefajat-e Islam rally, attempted murder of police by throwing cocktails, vandalizing vehicles and preventing law enforcers from discharging duties in the capital`s Shantinagar and Malibagh areas.
