BENAPOLE, JESSORE: District Awami League expelled four leaders including Sharsha upazila chairman candidate for violating party decision on Wednesday night.

The expelled leaders are- Sharsha upazila Awami League president, also rebel candidate for upazila chairman post Sirajul Haque Manju, vice-president Saleh Ahmed Mintu, general secretary Alhajj Nuruzzaman and joint secretary Ibrahim Khalil.

The decision came at an emergency meeting at district Awami League office at 8:00pm.    

Jessore Awami League president Ali Reza Razu confirmed the matter to banglanews.  

District Awami League Joint General Secretary Abdur Rahman Abdar, Joint Secretary SM Afzal Hossain and Office Secretary Mir Jahrul Islam, among others, were present in the meeting.
