BRAHMANBARIA: Police detained 113 people, including 10 activists of BNP, in nightlong drives across the district.

Of them, 10 BNP men were shown arrested in different cases related to sabotages during blockade and hartal hours while rest of them were accused of other regular cases.

Confirming the matter to banglanews additional superintendent of police (ASP) M Jahidul Islam said that the drives were conducted from Tuesday evening to Tuesday morning.

But he did not disclose the detailed identities of the detainees.

Raids are underway to avert possible sabotages, he added.
