Koko’s qulkhani Friday

DHAKA: A qulkhani and doa mahfil of Arafat Rahman Koko, younger son of former president Ziaur Rahman and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, will be held after Jumma prayers at Azad Masjid in city’s Gulshan area on Friday.

A family source confirmed the matter to banglanews on Wednesday.

However, Koko died of cardiac attack on January 24 in Malaysia. His dead body was brought to Dhaka on January 27.

Koko was buried at Banani Graveyard after the namaz-e-janaza at Baitul Mokarram National Mosque in the afternoon of the day.

People of all walks, including BNP and its alliance leaders and activists, are requested to be present at the rituals.
