DHAKA: After one-week break, the first session of the current parliament resumed at 4:53pm Tuesday.

The session started with speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.       

Prime minister along with opposition lawmakers attended in the session.      
 
Earlier deputy speaker Fazle Rabbi Mia adjourned the House on February 17.
