DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal, front organization of BNP, will organize processions with black flags across the country on March 10 protesting the obstructions of the party’s International Women’s Day rally.

Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal general secretary Shirin Sultana declared the demonstration at a press conference Saturday noon at BNP Headquarters in city’s Naya Paltan.

She said, how can it be possible when the country’s PM, opposition leader and Parliament Speaker are women, police obstructed a rally brought out on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

To protest this incident, the organization will bring out processions with black flags across the country on March 10, she added.

Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal President Nure Ara Safa was present at the conference.

Earlier, the organization arranged a rally at 10:00 in the morning to mark Women’s Day but police ondstructed the rally.
