DHAKA: National Democratic Institute Senior Country Representative Rishi Datta met BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday morning.

The one and half an hour long meeting started at 10:45am at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan Political office in the capital.

BNP standing committee member Dr Moin Khan and chairperson’s adviser Sabih Uddin Ahmed also took part in the meeting.

They discussed several issues including 10th national election, oppression of BNP leaders during pre and post-poll period, upazila parishad election and ongoing political situation in the country.
