DHAKA: Election Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Mobarak, also acting Chief Election Commissioner, Thursday said that BNP leaders do not have reins in their mouth.

He came up with the observation after a meeting with law-enforcement agencies about third phase of 4th Upazila Polls around the country.

BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, in a press conference on Wednesday, alleged Election Commission was silent about massive illegal activities of the ruling party.

Commissioner Mobarak, in this regard, said BNP leaders have no reins in their mouth.

Mobarak added that they hold meeting with law enforcers to arrange the third phase of 4th Upazila Polls peacefully.
