DHAKA: BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is set to appear before the court on Sunday morning in four separate cases on charge of anti-government protest.

He has already arrived at his lawyer M Mohsin Mia’s chamber in the morning.

The hearing of the cases was scheduled to be held at Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court from 10:30am.

Jaynul Abedin Mejbah, another lawyer of Mirza Fakhrul, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier, three cases were filed with Paltan Thana and another one was filed with Ramna Thana.
