NARSINGDI: A court on Wednesday ordered to send some 45 leaders and activists of the district BNP unit to jail rejecting their bail pleas.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Babu Nitai Chandra Saha passed the order at 12:30pm when they appeared before the court seeking bails.
Court sources said, on October 27, 2013, Sub-Inspector (SI) Shahidul Islam filled a case with Sadar Thana accusing 300 people – naming 93 leaders and activists of BNP – over vehicle vandalizing and torching under the Speedy Trail Act.
Court SI Razzak confirmed the matter to banglanews.
