RANGPUR: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, also ex-President of the country, categorically said that there was no scope of national election in next five years.

He came up with the assertion while talking to journalists at his Rangpur residence on Saturday noon.

Ershad said that the incumbent government was elected for five years and the government will continue the power for full term.

He also said that people suffered by hartal-blockade and they don’t want any movement at this moment.

Ershad claimed that Jatiya Party (JP) is showing responsibility as an opposition party.
