BRAHMANBARIA: At least five people were injured in a clash between Awami League and BNP supporters in four areas of Kasba upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The identity of the injured could not be known immediately.

Sources said that the incidents took place in Kasba Shikarpur government primary school, Dhojnagar government primary school polling centers, Singra and Binauti area.

Confirming the matter, Kasba Thana Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman said that police fired two rounds of shotgun bullets to bring the situation under control.
