RAJSAHI UNIVERSITY: Former joint secretary of Suhrawardi Hall unit of Chhatra League of Rajsahi University was shot to death by unknown miscreants on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Rostom Ali Akand, 25,

The killing incident took place at 1:15pm.

Rafiqul Islam, a resident student of the Hall, said hearing a gunshot at room no. 230, other students rushed in and found Rostom lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wound.

Later, he was taken to Rajsahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 1:30pm.
