NOAKHALI: Miscreants abducted a Juba League activist from Boikuntha village of Ramnarayanpur union under Chatkhil upazila of the district on Sunday evening.

The victim is Fayez Ahmed Babul, 32, an activist of Union Juba League, son of Ansar Uddin.

Locals said that some 4/5 miscreants blasted cocktails and fired blank shots to create panic among locals and abducted the Juba League man from the area.

Chatkhil Thana Officer-in-Charge Ibrahim Khalil told banglanews, “No one complained yet in this connection.”
