DHAKA: BNP will stage countrywide black flag processions on April 10 and 17, protesting the indictment of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and Vice-Chairman Tarrique Rahman.

BNP standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia in a press conference announcement the programs at Supreme Court Bar Association in city on Monday noon.

In the written speech, he said Judge Bashudev of Dhaka Special Judge Court-3 framed the charge against Khaleda Zia and Tarrique Rahman on March 19 which was unprecedented and illegal.

BNP Joint-Secretary General Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokan, among others, was present at the press conference.
