RANGPUR: District BNP and its front organizations called half-day hartal for Wednesday in the district demanding release of Swechhasebak Dal president Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel.   

The shutdown will be enforced from 6:00am and continue till 2:00pm.      

District BNP convener Mozaffar Hossain made the announcement on Monday afternoon at a press conference in the town.    

In the press conference BNP leaders alleged that government sent Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel to jail in false and fabricated case.
