DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has sent a greetings card to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bengali calendar.     

BNP assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Jony and Asadul Karim Shahin conveyed the greetings card to Sheikh Hasina at her Dhanmondi political office on Saturday afternoon.            

Awami League subcommittee member Syed Abdul Awal received the card on behalf of the premier, also Awami League president.  

Earlier opposition leader Rawshan Ershad and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad greeted Sheikh Hasina on Pahela Baishakh.
