THAKURGAON: Terming the government “illegal” BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that they (government) are establishing reign of terror by “creating anarchy”.

The spokesperson for the party made the allegation while addressing a street rally at Sadar upazila ahead of upcoming 6th phase upazila elections in May.     

He said, “We are fighting against the government for the voting rights and protecting democracy. In last three months, around 300 people were killed by police firing and disappeared 60 others men.”   

Fakhrul also claimed that Awami League has no interaction with people as it has already isolated from the mass people.   

Later, the BNP leader joined various street rallies in the upazila.
