RANGPUR: The newly elected 39 chairmen, vice-chairmen and female vice-chairmen from 13-upazila of six districts of the division took oath at Divisional Commissioner’s office on Tuesday morning.

Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Dilwar Bakht administered the oath taking ceremony at 11:30am.

During the time, he urged the people’s representatives to work with impartiality as people from all walks of life elected them.

Newly elected chairmen, vice-chairmen and female vice-chairmen, in the third and fourth phases of countrywide Upazila Polls, from Dinajpur Sadar, Nababganj, Bochaganj, Fulbari, Nilphamari Sadar, Aditmari of Lalmonirhat district, Kurigram Sadar, Roumari, Chilmari, Gaibandha Sadar, Sadullapur, Haripur of Thakurgaon district and Pirganj upazila took oath.
