RANGPUR: BNP called half-day hartal in the district for Wednesday demanding immediate release of central committee president of Swechhasebak Dal central committee Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel.
District BNP convener Mojaffor Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday afternoon.
He said, “We have called hartal from 6:00am to 2:00pm for Wednesday demanding the release of Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, son of Rangpur.”
Mojaffor also urged Rangpur people to observe the hartal spontaneously.
