Ctg Abahani win Sheikh Kamal Int’l Club Cup

CHITTAGONG: Recovering from 0-1, Chittagong Abahani beat East Bengal F.C. of Kolkata by 3-1 goals in the final of the first edition of Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup-2015 at M A Aziz Stadium in the port city.

Eleta Kingslay’s double and one goal by Hemanta Vincent Biswas was enough for Chittagong Abahani to pick up the win.

However, it was the East Bengal that took the lead in the match scoring at the 11th minute.

Chittagong Abahani went into the half-time by equalizing, thanks to Eleta Kingslay. The Nigerian striker, who plays for Chittagong Abahani, scored the equalizer at the injury time of the first half.

The second half saw an invigorated Chittagong Abahani. Brilliant Eleta scored the second goal for his team in the 54th minute, thanks to a defence-penetrating cross of Zahid.

Just two minutes after the second goal, striker Hemanta Vincent Biswas scored his first one in the match through head and helped Chittagong Abahani take an unassailable lead of 3-1.
