DHAKA: Bangladesh set Zimbabwe a 273-run target after losing four wickets in their stipulated 50-over in the first One-Day International (ODI) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in city on Saturday.
Mushfiqur Rahim scored 107-run off 109-ball, his fourth ODI century while Sabbir Rahman amass 57-run, his top score. Tamim Iqbal took 40-run.
T Muzarabani and Sikandar Raza took two wickets each while LM Jongwe and T Panyangara took one wicket each.
The day-night match began at 1:00am with Tamim Iqbal and make-shift opener Liton Das.
Earlier, Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura won the toss and chose to bowl first.
As Al-Amin returned to the team, Kamrul Islam Rabbi has to wait for his international debut.
