DHAKA: Australia national football team is set to visit Bangladesh to take part in a world cup qualifying match.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin made the disclosure after a meeting with FIFA officials over security issue at home ministry in city on Tuesday.
‘FIFA has shown their satisfaction over the security measures taken by the Bangladesh government,’ he added.
Salahuddin further said that the qualifying match between host Bangladesh and visiting Australia is set to be held on November 17.
‘Australia appealed for a neutral venue,’ the BFF president said adding, ‘we are confident about our venue.’
‘Now FIFA will take decision,’ he remarked.
