DHAKA: Neighbouring countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are the likely neutral venue options for the proposed India-Pakistan series, which could take place if the both countries agree to play this December.
With BCCI unwilling to play in Pakistan's adopted home, UAE, sources revealed senior BCCI officials have discussed these two options in recent meetings, reports the TOI.
Sources said BCCI president Shashank Manohar could discuss this opportunity of playing the high-profile series in Lanka or Bangladesh with his Pakistani counterpart Shahryar Khan.
"The only glitch in this proposal is that if the series happens in one of these countries, UAE could get offended. Otherwise, the option of playing the series is certainly on BCCI's mind," a source close to the development told TOI.
