DHAKA: Comilla Victorians won by seven wickets with seven balls remaining against Chittagong Vikings in the fifth match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2015 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Mashrafe Mortaza played a match-winning innings, scoring 56 runs off 32 balls. Marlon Samuels give him able support with 79 runs of 52 balls.
The captain with the help of Samuels added 123 runs for the fourth wicket to guide their team to a massive win.
Shuvagata Hom has played a wonderful innings before went back to the pavilion building a 44-run partnership with Samuels
Earlier in the day, Comilla Victorians captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to field first.
The Chittagong Vikings have ended the innings with the flow in their favour, setting a 176-run target for Comilla Victorians.
Earlier, Vikings have won one match out of two matches they played in the tournament so far whereas Victorians lost the only match they played so far.
