DHAKA: Barisal Bulls won by six wickets with three ball remaining against Rangpur Riders in the 19th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Thursday.
The rain affected match curtailed by 7 overs in Duckworth–Lewis method (D/L method) and the new target for Barisal Bulls was 75.
Mahmudullah and Rony Talukder scored 23 runs each while Nadif Chowdhury 16 runs to reach the 75-run target in 12.3-overs.
Earlier, Rangpur Riders set 105-run target for nine in the 20-over match, with Jahurul Islam 24 runs off 32 balls and Misbah-ul-Haq 22 off 27 balls.
Barisal bowlers Al-Amin Hossain bagged three wickets while Mohammad Sami and RR Emrit picked one wicket each.
Barisal Bulls won the toss and chose to field.
Barisal Bulls has become the first spot in the point table of the BPL while Rangpur are on the third position with eight points.
