DHAKA: Bangladesh need 181-run from 20-over to win the fourth and final T20 match as well as the Walton T20 Cricket series against visiting Zimbabwe at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Friday.
Earlier in the day, visitors’ captain E Chigumbura won the toss and elected to bat first in the match that started at 3:00pm (local time).
They scored 180-run losing four wickets in their 20-over quota. Hamilton Masakadza played a scintillating innings of 93-run off 58-ball and takes Zimbabwe to 180. He stayed there from the start to end, and guided his team through.
Besides, R Mutumbami and MN Waller accompanied him with 32 and 36 runs.
Tiger bowlers were quite bad in the first few overs and that extended to the middle overs, with frequent full tosses and hittable deliveries. They bounced back well towards the end.
Mashrafe Mortaza, Abu Hider, Taskin Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan took one wicket each.
Bangladesh brought three changes in the match. Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny are in for Muktar Ali, Mohammad Shahid and Mosaddek Hossain.
Zimbabwe found their feet and then ran into the Bangladesh team in the previous match to keep the series alive.
