DHAKA: Pakistan Under-19s have scored only 212-run losing all wickets from 48.4-over against Sri Lanka Under-19s in the 24th Match of ICC Under-19 World Cup at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka on Wednesday (February 3).

Winning the toss, Sri Lanka Under-19s captain KIC Asalanka elected to field first in the Group B match that which kicked off at 9:00am local time.

Lankans started bowling under foggy conditions, but then one of their seamers had a very poor day and bowled only two overs. The spinners stepped up and their accuracy was impeccable.

SHTN Nimesh, PWH de Silva and BADN Silva took two wickets each while KIC Asalanka and AM Fernando picked up one wicket each.

Of the Pakistan batsmen, Hasan Mohsin hit 86-run. Besides, Salman Fayyaz, Mohammad Umar and Saif Badar scored 33, 26 and 24 runs respectively.

Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka have entered the quarter finals of the tournament. This match, however, will determine the group champion.
