GD Phillips (89 off 40 balls), CK Leopard (25 off 27 balls), JL Finnie (30 off 29 balls) and FH Allen 31 off 20 balls) helped Kiwis to secure the big win.
Earlier, Scotland set New Zealand 181-run target in 50-over match that started at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Academy Ground, Cox's Baza at 9:00am.
RM ter Braak bagged three wickets while NG Smith and FJM Murray two wickets each for New Zealand.
The ICC Under-19 World Cup has crossed the half-way mark and things have started getting serious here as it progresses towards the business end.
