DHAKA: Bangladesh are chasing 212-run target set by Nepal in the Quarterfinal of ICC Under-19 World Cup at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Friday.
After the end of 20th over, teenager tigers have scored 66 runs for two with asking run rate 3.27.
Host Bangladesh Under-19s required another 149 runs with 8 wickets and 30.4 overs remaining.
Joyraz Sheik and Nazmul Hossain Shanto are at the crease with 29 and 5 runs respectively.
Nepal scored 211-run in the 50.0 over match in the match that began at 9:00am (Bangladesh Time).
Raju Rijal (72 off 80 balls) helped Nepal to build the fighting score 211 for nine against tigers.
It looked dangerous for the hosts when Rijal got going, but he was one of four run-out victims, out for 72.
Earlier, visitors won the toss and elected to bat.
This is the first Quarterfinal match for the ninth place of the tournament.
The top eight teams have directly qualified for the Super-League quarter final.
The match will affect in Under-19 rankings as well.
