Bangladesh loose three wickets

DHAKA: Three batsmen of Bangladesh Under-19s have returned to pavilion after 13-over in the second semi-final match against West Indies Under-19s in the of ICC Under-19 World Cup on Thursday (February 11).

The Tiger cubs have scored 66-run after 15-over at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in city.

Currently, Joyraz Sheik and Zakir Hasan are on the crease with 28 off 37 balls and 1 off 5-ball in an effort of make things right for Bangladesh.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Saif Hassan returned to pavilion scoring 11 and 10 runs while Pinak Ghosh failed failed to open his account against red-hot West Indies Under-19s pacers.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh U-19 captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the toss and decided to bat first in the all important match that began at 9:00am local time.

This is the first ever semi-final match of Bangladesh in any form of ICC event.
