Bangladesh facing India bowlers

DHAKA: Bangladesh batsmen are facing the bowlers of India in the rain-delayed curtailed final of Asia Cup 2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur of Dhaka on Sunday (March 6).

Earlier, India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.

The game has been reduced to 15-overs a side. Fielding restrictions for five overs, and a bowler can bowl a maximum of three overs.

The umpires made the decision after inspecting the field at 8:45pm after the match was delayed due to rain and storm.

The match was scheduled to start at 7:30pm Bangladesh time.

The rain had stopped at 7:40pm and groundsmen, led by Gamini Silva, worked hard so that the game can start.
