Australia set 194-run target for Pakistan

DHAKA: Australia batsmen have scored 193-run losing four wickets from their 20-over quota against Pakistan in the Super 10 Group 2 match of ICC World T20 at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium of Mohali in Chandigarh in India on Friday (March 25).

Earlier, Australia captain SPD Smith won the toss and elected to bat first in the 26th Match.

Smith played a superb captain’s knock scoring 61-run off 43-ball with the help of seven 4’s.

Besides, Maxwell, Khawaja and Finch scored 30, 21 and 15 runs respectively.

But, it was Shane Watson who ripped Pakistan bowling apart hitting a blazing 44 off 21-ball with four 4’s and three 6’s here.

Of the Pakistan bowlers, pacer Wahab Riaz and left arm orthodox Imad Wasim picked up two wickets each.

This is a must win game for both the teams to keep alive the chance of progressing further in the tournament.
