DHAKA: Bangladesh has climbed to fifth position in International Cricket Council (ICC) One Day International (ODI) rankings.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hossain made the disclosure on Monday (April 25) after returning from an ICC meeting.
ICC has not made any official declaration on the matter till filing the report.
The victories in the last year have contributed to the jump, although Bangladesh haven’t played any ODIs in 2016.
The Tigers’ points have increased to 101 from 97. Australia are first with 128 points while New Zealand are second with 117 points. India are next with 115 points while South Africa just behind them with 114.
