DHAKA: Australia have beaten West Indies by 58-run in the triangular series final at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados on Sunday (June 26).
Winning the toss, Australia captain Steve Smith chose to bat first.
M Wade, AJ Finch, S Smith and M Marsh scored 57, 47, 46 and 32 runs help Australia score a fighting 270-run losing nine wickets in their 50-over.
JO Holder and Shannon Gabriel picked up two wickets each for West Indies.
In response, West Indies batsmen managed to score 212-run losing all wickets from 45.4-over.
J Charles, D Ramdin and JO Holder scored 45, 40 and 34 runs.
Hazlewood pickedu pfive wickets while Mitchell Marsh took three wickets for Australia.
Marsh was adjudged the player of the match as his emergence as a performer under pressure was a major positive for Australia.
He broke the backbone of the West Indies chase in a spell of 3 for 6 that featured the wickets of Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels and Johnson Charles in successive overs.
