DHAKA: Bangladesh government has assured the visiting England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) security delegation saying that widespread security measures will be taken for the safety of England Cricket Team during their Bangladesh tour.

Home ministry senior secretary Dr Mohammad Mozammel Haque Khan reiterated the assurance to the media after a meeting with ECB members in city on Thursday (August 18).

“I have assured them that the law enforcers will take all-out security measures to avert any untoward situation during the tour of England Cricket Team. No one will be able to hamper the security system,” he said

A three-member delegation led by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) security director Reg Dickason is currently visiting Bangladesh.
