DHAKA: Motorola announced its new Moto X smartphone will be available in the UK, France and Germany from February 1.
The Android phone will retail for GBP 380 or EUR 399 unlocked.
Launched in North and South America last year, the Moto X is Motorola’s second major device, after the low-cost Moto G, to launch since its takeover by Google.
It will be available free on contracts starting at GBP 25 per month in the UK from Phones 4U, Carphone Warehouse, O2, Amazon and Techdata.
Phones 4U will have an exclusive on the white model for the first three months and said it has already started pre-sales.
In Germany, the Phone House, O2, Amazon.de, Media Markt, Saturn, Expert and Sparhandy.de will offer the phone for EUR 399, reports .telecompaper.com.
